Pinarello New Dogma F Frame – Giro 50 Special Edition

Crafted from Legacy – Tribute to 50 years since the 1975 Giro d’Italia

The Pinarello New Dogma F – Giro 50 Special Edition is a limited edition racing bike created to celebrate Fausto Bertoglio's victory at the 1975 Giro d’Italia, the first Grand Tour triumph for the Pinarello brand.

The bike's exclusive design features a gradient livery that blends Glossy Midnight Blue with Borealis Luxter Venice, faithfully evoking the colors of the original bike. A GPT detail (Giovanni Pinarello Treviso) is integrated on the fork as a tribute to the founder, while a 50th anniversary commemorative decal embellishes the top tube.

The complete bike is also equipped with custom-painted Princeton Wake wheels, made to measure for this collector's edition.

Detailed Technologies

TorayCa M40X Carbon

The frame of the Dogma F uses the new M40X fiber, already tested in the X-Light models and adopted by the Team Ineos Grenadiers. This fiber guarantees:

  • Greater tensile strength

  • Superior lateral stiffness

  • High performance even under extreme efforts

Down Tube (Oblique Tube)

Completely redesigned:

  • Reduced thickness for better frontal aerodynamics

  • Lower air resistance during high-speed pedaling

New Aero-Keel Bottom Bracket

The down tube has been rotated by 3.5° taking a keel-like shape:

  • Increase of 1.2% in aerodynamics in the bottom bracket area

Top Tube

Evolution of the historic “nose” shape introduced with the Dogma F8 in 2014:

  • Reduction of volume and width by 8 mm

  • More compact and penetrating design for maximum frontal aerodynamic efficiency

Headset

To achieve a slimmer section, Pinarello developed:

  • Innovative elliptical steerer tube

  • Headset with differentiated diameters: wider at the bottom, narrower at the top

  • Result: better control and stiffness while riding

Thru Axles

The bike introduces new shorter thru axles, with:

  • Integrated bolt in the carbon on the right side of the fork (no visible external hole)

  • Integration of the rear derailleur hanger

  • Significant improvement in aerodynamics and design cleanliness

New ONDA Fork (Fork)

  • New more slim shape

  • 47 mm rake, developed with feedback from professional cyclists

  • Results: optimized aerodynamics, improved handling, high downhill performance

Integrated Seat Post Clamp

The seatpost clamp has been:

  • Reduced in size

  • Fully integrated inside the frame

  • Benefits: lower weight, greater protection from dust/sweat, cleaner look

New Talon Ultra Fast (Integrated Cockpit)

  • Integrated handlebar designed to be lighter and more aerodynamic

  • New design allowing a natural twist of the brake/shifter levers
