Factor One V3 2026 Frame – Maximum Aerodynamics, Total Control, Race Performance

The Factor ONE V3 2026 represents the new frontier of aerodynamics applied to road cycling. It is not just a revolution, but the natural evolution of the technologies developed by the brand in recent years: from the record-breaking speed of the HANZ Track to the winning versatility of the OSTRO VAM, each project has contributed to creating a frame capable of redefining industry standards.

Thanks to an advanced mix of CFD, wind tunnel tests, and road trials, Factor has developed a platform capable of manipulating airflow around the wheels, reducing turbulence, and ensuring superior speed without sacrificing stability and handling. The response was immediate: in its first public outing, still in prototype version, the ONE V3 won a stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné. Not a debut, but a declaration of supremacy.

Extreme Aerodynamics to Conquer the Air

The experience gained with the HANZ project and unconventional fork tests allowed Factor engineers to overcome the limits imposed by traditional design.
The result? A frame capable of:

  • Optimally managing the “spill” of air from the front tire

  • Maintaining stability and precision even beyond 15° of yaw, where most competitors lose effectiveness

  • Combining pure speed, lightness, and immediate response

Thanks to the UCI rule change, Factor was able to push design to the limits of what's possible, even surpassing the performance of the OSTRO VAM.

Modern Geometry, Designed for the Contemporary Cyclist

Modern cycling requires more aggressive positions: narrow handlebars, forward saddles, shorter crank arms, and more weight shifted to the front.
The ONE V3's geometry is designed to offer absolute stability even with these settings.

  • Support for extreme reach without compromising handling

  • Specific support for a higher center of gravity and weight distribution

  • Same steering geometry for all sizes, even the smallest (a unique feature among high-performance bikes)

The decoupled cockpit design offers full adjustability without the need for overly long or unstable stems.

Advanced CFD: Real, Not Theoretical, Aerodynamics

Thanks to high-resolution CFD simulation, the Factor team was able to iterate hundreds of digital prototypes before physical tests, reducing time and increasing the accuracy of results.
This approach allowed for:

  • Optimizing the frame based on the actual position of the modern cyclist, not the traditional one

  • Improving flow management across the entire bike, not just at the front

  • Maximizing power output while maintaining stability and an ideal center of gravity

Every design choice was validated in simulation, refined in the wind tunnel, and confirmed on the road.

Airflow Management: The Advantage of the Bayonet Fork + Chin Fairing

The combined Bayonet Fork + "Chin" Fairing system is the heart of the ONE V3's aerodynamic advantage:

  • Drastic reduction of turbulence generated by the front tire

  • Channeling air towards the optimal points of the frame

  • Consistent aerodynamic performance even with strong crosswinds

The wide fork with front duct makes the most of the new UCI regulations, eliminating the limitations of traditional shapes and offering an unprecedented level of flow control on a road bike.

Find the Size

A Complete Guide to Bike Sizes

Foreword: Not all bike sizes are the same

Each type of bike has a specific frame and often uses a different size scale. For example, a road bike with a 54cm frame might be considered a medium size by one brand, but a large by another.

Bicycle adjustment margins

Some types of bikes, like gravel bikes, offer a wide range of adjustments, adapting to different body types. Other models, however, have limitations in this regard. This is an important aspect to consider.

How to use size charts

We've created a simple guide to help you find the right bike size:

  1. Check out our size charts for each bike type.
  2. Learn more with specific tips to help you make the right choice.

Size Charts: Find Your Perfect Bike

Gravel and road bikes

Sizes are based on the length of the top tube (in cm), which determines the reach of the bike.

Cut Recommended height Horizontal tube length
XS Up to 157 cm 48-50 cm
S 157-167 cm 50-53 cm
M 168-178 cm 53-56 cm
THE 178-185 cm 56-58 cm
XL Over 185cm 58-62 cm

For gravel, measurements may vary slightly due to different geometries, but remain similar.

Mountain bike

MTBs are measured in inches, based on the seat tube.

Cut Recommended height Size (in inches)
XS Up to 157 cm 14"-16"
S 157-167 cm 15"-17"
M 168-178 cm 16"-19"
THE 178-185 cm 18"-20"
XL Over 185cm 20"-23"

Sizes also vary depending on the type of MTB: full-suspension , hardtail or fat bike .

Children's bikes

The size depends on the size of the wheels, often associated with age:

Age Wheel Size
1-3 years 12"
2-4 years 14"
4-6 years 16"
5-8 years 20"
8-10 years 24"
Over 10 years 26"/27.5"

What to do with half measures?

If you are between two sizes:

  • Comfort : Choose the larger size.
  • Performance : Go for the smaller size.

Final tips for choosing

  1. Consult the manufacturer's instructions : Always check the brand's guidelines.
  2. Ask an expert : a specialized workshop can help you choose based on your height, ideal reach and goals.
  3. Test the bike : If possible, test the model you intend to purchase.
