Today, the Roubaix SL8 with Future Shock 3.0 is lighter, faster, and more comfortable than any other road bike. The road may be hell under your tires, but aboard the new Roubaix, it’s heaven.

• VIBRATION ABSORPTION: The Future Shock 3.0 cartridge is the new star in the firmament, more adjustable and resistant. Regardless of the riding position, every cyclist can enjoy 20mm of travel, without friction, between the stem and the head tube. The hands on the handlebars remain stable, ensuring a smoother ride with greater control to be faster, safer and more confident.

• The low-clamp design exposes more of the seatpost to increase its flex. The Pavé seatpost ‘controls’ this movement for optimal absorption of vibrations in the vertical plane. Together, these two things form the ‘AfterShock’ technology, and when combined with the Roubaix’s stiff rear triangle, they create a smooth ride without compromising efficiency.

• The Roubaix SL8 is the most comfortable road bike the Ride Science Team has ever tested - it reduces impacts to the handlebars by 53% compared to other bikes in its category. With the Future Shock 3.0 cartridge, the wheel flies over the obstacle while the rider remains stable and holds the line over rough surfaces. Normally, the fork flexes backwards on an impact, causing a loss of speed. It's scientific, more comfortable equals faster.

• CAPABILITY: The Roubaix pioneered endurance geometry, giving you the sensation of riding 'in' the bike, not 'on' the bike. This reduces pressure on your hands, shoulders and arms, giving you capability and confidence on any road.

• With clearance for up to 38c/40mm tires, this endurance road bike provides exceptional traction on rough roads or gravel. Thanks to the lightweight and efficient Specialized tires, this increased section does not come at a disadvantage.

• The Roubaix makes you want to spend long days in the saddle, so we thought we'd kit it out with everything you might need for a bike adventure - three bottle cage mounts, a top tube bag mount, and room for mudguards. All that's left to do is get going!

• PERFORMANCE: The new Roubaix SL8 is the most aerodynamic in its class, with new tube profiles generated by the Free Foil library and dropped seatstays. Using the Aethos project—the lightest industrially produced road bike—the new frame weighs just 825 grams, is made of FACT 12r carbon and is 50 grams lighter than the previous one. No other bike in this category is faster or lighter than the new Roubaix.
