Cervelo Aspero 5 Force AXS 1 Bicycle - Green
Cervélo Áspero-5 Force AXS 1 Bicycle – Aerodynamic Gravel Race
The fastest gravel bike, period
The Cervélo Áspero-5 Force AXS 1 is a gravel bicycle designed to achieve maximum performance on dirt roads, fast gravel, and competitive gravel courses. The new Áspero-5 draws on the experience gained by Cervélo over 30 years of research into aerodynamics and performance, applied for the first time in such an extreme way to the world of gravel racing.
Compared to the previous model, the new Áspero-5 is 37 watts faster, while the stated advantage over its closest competitor is 34 watts. A result achieved through careful aerodynamic design of the frame and components, without sacrificing lightness.
With clearance for tires up to 45 mm, an integrated storage compartment in the downtube, and a threaded bottom bracket, the Áspero-5 is a gravel bike ready for competition right out of the box.
The new Áspero-5 made its racing debut in the exclusive rainbow livery in the hands of UCI Gravel World Champion Marianne Vos, becoming a platform designed for cyclists looking for speed, efficiency, and racing performance.
The shape of speed
Aerodynamics is one of the core elements of the Cervélo Áspero-5. The new generation has been developed to be 37 watts faster than the previous model and 34 watts faster than its closest competitor.
Cervélo's experience in the field of aerodynamics has led to the creation of a gravel bike where the frame and components work together to reduce drag.
An important role is played by the integrated cockpit with aerodynamic handlebars and stem, which alone contribute to a saving of almost 6 watts.
More aerodynamic, without sacrificing weight
Despite the introduction of a significantly larger surface area dedicated to improving aerodynamic performance, the new Cervélo Áspero-5 has managed to reduce the weight by 66 grams compared to the previous model.
The result is a gravel race platform designed to combine aerodynamic efficiency, lightness, and the ability to tackle even the most demanding courses.
Mixed & Matched Tire Geometry
The new Áspero-5 introduces a specific solution for managing geometry based on tire configuration.
With tires of the same size, for example 42 mm front and rear, the bike offers a stable, confident ride ready to tackle the most technical gravel courses.
To further increase aerodynamic efficiency and refine handling on less technical terrain, you can instead use a Mixed configuration, with a tire width difference of up to 4 mm. An example is the 40 mm front and 44 mm rear combination.
This solution allows you to adapt the bike's behavior to the type of terrain and take advantage of a specific setup to maximize speed and control.
In-frame storage compartment
The Cervélo Áspero-5 integrates an internal storage system into the down tube, derived from the technology first introduced on the P-series triathlon bike.
The in-frame storage compartment allows you to carry an inner tube, tools, and a repair kit inside the bike, keeping the equipment protected from the wind and positioned in an area optimized for weight distribution.
The system is designed to offer high aerodynamic efficiency and represents a practical solution for the needs of gravel competitions and longer rides.

A Complete Guide to Bike Sizes
Foreword: Not all bike sizes are the same
Each type of bike has a specific frame and often uses a different size scale. For example, a road bike with a 54cm frame might be considered a medium size by one brand, but a large by another.
Bicycle adjustment margins
Some types of bikes, like gravel bikes, offer a wide range of adjustments, adapting to different body types. Other models, however, have limitations in this regard. This is an important aspect to consider.
How to use size charts
We've created a simple guide to help you find the right bike size:

| THE | 178-185 cm | 18"-20" |
| XL | Over 185cm | 20"-23" |
Sizes also vary depending on the type of MTB: full-suspension , hardtail or fat bike .
Children's bikes
The size depends on the size of the wheels, often associated with age:
| Age | Wheel Size |
|---|---|
| 1-3 years | 12" |
| 2-4 years | 14" |
| 4-6 years | 16" |
| 5-8 years | 20" |
