  Shimano's EP8 e-drive delivers dynamic power and a lightweight system that supports the agile geometry of the JAM² 7.9. You have two engine support profiles that you can customize to suit your needs. This way, you can easily switch via the display from a smooth and continuous profile for your ride on the trails to a very dynamic and progressive profile for your actual ride. It depends on your preferences. In addition, our specially developed, integrated but removable battery supports your super long rides with 720Wh. Additionally, a USB C port on the top tube gives you the opportunity to charge your devices.

• Optimized kinematics for great progression

  With the update to our popular FOLD, your JAM² 7.9 is ready to shred trails even more. We kept the welcome feel of the FOLD, but changed the placement of our kinematics within the frame for strong bottoming resistance. The characteristics are fully progressive, which results in a frame that offers plenty of stability over rough terrain. Especially e-mountain bikes with their additional weight of the motor and battery benefit from more progression. This allows it to handle any trail while the frame still provides comfort for long rides. Plus, the JAM² 7.9's lower standover gives you more room to play on the trail.

  Performance in the saddle comes first. JAM² 7.9 will improve your output, every time. Agile and fast geometries in a streamlined and compact design will push you on all types of trails both technical and fluid. The FLIP CHIP on the linkage of your JAM² 7.9 can be used to adapt your geometry to an even more aggressive riding style. The small adjustment of the head angle from 65.5° to 65° and towards a longer reach changes the whole focus of your set-up making it even more downhill oriented. In addition, the CIS (Cockpit Integration Solution) ensures a clean cockpit and consistently smooth gear shifting and braking. All cables go from the handlebar to the stem and through the headset to the frame. Plus, all your essentials fit in the tool bag between the top and downtube.
