If you want to receive the bicycle of your dreams ready for use, remember to add the bike assembly (see link).
Characteristics:
We wanted to make the fun EVO models accessible to everyone, so we took the 11m carbon fiber frame - yes, that one from the S-Works - and set it up with a bombproof SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain and wheels in alloy. The Stumpjumper EVO Comp is ready for anything.
- Suspension travel is useless without the right kinematics and we kept this in mind in the design of the Stumpjumper EVO. With what we've learned in developing the Enduro and over 1000 hours of field and lab testing, we've dramatically improved the ride and created the feeling of capability, efficiency and liveliness that everyone appreciates. We've increased anti-squat so the suspension resists bobbing better, and we've also improved shock absorption over sharp obstacles. Simply put, the Stumpjumper descends with complete control and ascends with agility.
- The "S-Sizing" geometry of the Stumpjumper EVO is the most progressive. Long, low, relaxed, short offset fork, a steeper seat tube - they make you ride better. But the perfect geometry can be different for different bikers, which is why for the Stumpjumper EVO it is possible to adjust it to six different positions. Not only can you raise the bottom bracket by 10mm, you can also adjust the head angle by up to two degrees. Finally, if you like mullet, for the Stumpjumper EVO you can mount the 27.5" wheel on the rear in combination with the 29" front.
- Rider-First Engineered™ technology is a size-specific approach in design to ensure the same riding characteristics for all sizes. So if you're not exactly a giant and you ride an S1, or if you need the long S6 instead, you'll tackle curves with the same confidence, with an equivalent balance of rigidity, all at the lightest possible weight.
- In 2016 we introduced the SWAT™ compartment in the Stumpjumper frame, to be able to store pumps or other things to repair a puncture. Now, for the Stumpjumper, we've increased the space even further by introducing a container, the SWAT™ Bladder, which allows you to carry 650ml of water in the downtube - the same amount as a water bottle.
