New shape for a more natural pedal stroke
The ergonomics of the Vega Carbon have been completely redesigned to adapt to changes in the geometry of modern racing bikes and new riding positions. The new shape with a straighter axis and reduced drop allows for a more natural and comfortable pedal stroke. The forefoot area has been widened to allow the foot to fully spread, improving fit and reducing pressure during intense rides or stage races.
Integrated carbon sole: stiffness and support
One of the distinctive features of the Fi'zi:k Vega Carbon is the integrated carbon sole, positioned inside the shoe. This innovative solution reduces the overall thickness (stack height) in the cleat area and improves medial foot support. The sole's anatomy promotes greater stability, enhancing power transfer during pedaling.
Technical and breathable upper
The upper of the Vega Carbon is constructed with a strategic material mapping approach, combining different fabrics based on the needs of each foot area. The most ventilated zones use Aeroweave PRO, a highly breathable and durable mesh structure, paired with an ultra-light translucent mesh. The shoe is completed with an internal sock made of perforated Airprene, ensuring comfort and a pressure-point-free fit even on the longest rides.
BOA® Fit System dual adjustment closure
For a fully customizable fit, the Vega Carbon features the BOA® Fit System Dual-Dial Li2, allowing independent adjustments on the instep and medial area. The two dials operate on separate panels to wrap the foot precisely, perfectly adapting to its shape.
