More comfort and clearance for tires up to 35mm

The rear triangle and seatpost area have been completely redesigned to increase vertical compliance and improve vibration absorption. This results in a smoother and less fatiguing ride, especially over long distances or uneven surfaces.

Furthermore, the increased tire clearance now allows for tires up to 35mm, improving:

New integrated CC.02 cockpit: more aggressive and lighter

The new C72 also introduces the integrated CC.02 cockpit, an evolution of the previous CC.01.

Lighter than the previous C68

Weight has also been optimized.

The new C72 frame in size 485, unpainted (without metal components), weighs only 895 grams, a saving of 30 grams compared to the previous C68.

With appropriate components, the bike can easily reach the UCI weight limit of 6.8 kg, while maintaining all the solidity and build quality typical of Colnago.

The tradition of the modular frame continues

One of the elements that makes the C Series unique is its modular construction.

The new Colnago C72 is also made by hand-assembling seven carbon modules in Italy, joined by junctions and interlocking connections, following Colnago tradition.

This construction technique offers several advantages:

• extremely high-level finishes

The smaller molds for individual modules allow for greater care compared to traditional monocoque frames.
