The Castelli Perfetto 2 Vest is designed for bike rides on cool days when you need warmth, moisture protection, and maximum breathability from start to finish. A mid-weight vest, characterized by moderate insulation and designed to offer effective performance over a wide temperature range.

Weighing just 156 grams, the Castelli Perfetto 2 is ideal for temperatures between 10°C and 18°C (50°F - 64°F). It is the warmest vest in the Castelli range, but its high breathability allows it to be used in different conditions without creating an excessive feeling of warmth.

Castelli Ristretto Lite Technology

The heart of the Perfetto 2 is the Castelli Ristretto Lite fabric technology, developed to offer the ultimate balance between breathability, warmth, and moisture protection.

The fabric's specific air permeability is calibrated to block wind almost completely, while still allowing a minimal amount of air to pass through the material's structure. This slight airflow promotes the transfer of moisture to the outside, helping to keep the body drier while pedaling.

The fabric also features a PFAS-free DWR treatment, which contributes to water protection.

Castelli collaborated with textile innovator ITTTAI® to develop an exclusive fabric capable of combining advanced stretch, high breathability, and water protection, leveraging ITTTAI®'s expertise in the field of membranes and laminations.

Maximum breathability on the back

The vest's construction is designed to differentiate protection and ventilation.

The front uses a mid-weight Ristretto fabric, designed to provide warmth and protection, while the stretch fabric back ensures greater elasticity and high breathability.

This combination allows for maintaining warmth without needing excessively bulky layers, offering a comfortable fit and good freedom of movement while pedaling.

Double-opening YKK® Vislon® zipper

Ventilation management is simple and immediate thanks to the smooth-sliding YKK® Vislon® zipper, which can be opened from both the top and bottom.

This solution makes it easy to adjust airflow while pedaling, adapting protection to temperature changes and the intensity of the effort.

The vest also features 3 flat rear pockets with an internal security edge, designed to offer all the space needed to carry essentials during rides.
