The Crankbrothers Mallet Enduro pedals are clipless MTB pedals designed to provide stability, control, and maximum grip during Enduro riding. The concave platform ensures secure foot placement, while the 4-sided entry system ensures quick and reliable engagement even in the most demanding conditions.

The platform features 6 adjustable pins per side, allowing you to customize the level of grip to suit your needs. The integrated traction pad technology optimizes the shoe-to-pedal interface, while the ribbed body improves traction when the foot is unclipped.

The Mallet Enduro design was developed to tackle technical trails and the most challenging terrain. The chamfered edges improve ground clearance and help deflect impacts from rocks and obstacles, reducing the risk of the pedal catching while riding.

4-sided engagement system

At the heart of the Crankbrothers Mallet Enduro is the signature 4-sided clip-in system, designed to facilitate cleat entry and release.

The mechanism rotates independently of the pedal body, allowing for freer, obstruction-free entry and exit. The open design also allows mud and debris to be shed quickly, helping to maintain predictable system behavior even in the toughest riding conditions.

The 4-sided engagement combines with the ability to customize float and release angle, allowing the rider to configure the pedal according to their preferences.

Concave platform and maximum grip

The concave platform is designed to provide secure foot placement and greater bike control.

The 6 adjustable pins per side, with a length of 8 mm, allow you to customize traction according to the rider's needs. The integrated traction pad further optimizes the interface between shoe and pedal, while the body ribs improve traction when the foot is unclipped.

With a 52 mm Q-factor, the Mallet Enduro also offers more room for shoes and helps improve control during the ride.

Chamfered edges for better ground clearance

Each aluminum pedal body is carefully machined at the lower front, creating chamfered edges that improve ground clearance while riding on trails.

This shape also helps ensure that impacts with rocks are deflected away from the pedal, a feature particularly useful on technical Enduro trails characterized by obstacles.

Premium internal components

The Crankbrothers Mallet Enduro pedals use internal components designed to ensure smooth rotation and long-lasting durability.

The construction integrates a Chromoly steel spindle, Enduro MAX cartridge bearings, Igus LL-glide composite bearings, and the proprietary Double Seal System, which helps protect the internal components.

The pedal is also designed to be easily serviced at home, without the need for special tools.

Technical specifications

Materials and construction

The body of the Mallet Enduro pedals is made of 6061-T6 aluminum, while the wings are made of 17-4PH stainless steel. The spindle is made of forged SCM 435 Chromoly steel, while the springs use 300 series stainless steel.

The rotation system combines an internal Igus LL-glide bearing with an external Enduro MAX cartridge bearing. The alloy endcap with a hexagonal profile completes the pedal configuration.

The Double Seal System helps protect the internal components and extend the life of the system.

Cleats included

The Crankbrothers Mallet Enduro pedals include cleats with a 15° / 20° standard release and 6° of float, allowing you to configure the system's behavior based on your riding needs.

Cleat warning

Third-party cleats are not approved for use with Crankbrothers pedal systems. Using non-Crankbrothers cleats may reduce the lifespan of the pedal and result in the voiding of the pedal warranty.

Weight and warranty

The Crankbrothers Mallet Enduro pedals weigh 424 g per pair and have no rider weight limit.
