Garmin Speed Sensor – Second Generation
The second-generation Garmin speed sensor attaches directly to the hub of one of the two wheels.
The wheel size can be:
configured via the online community Garmin Connect™, or
automatically calibrated with an Edge® cycle computer or a compatible Garmin device
Once configured, the sensor provides always accurate speed and distance data, in any condition.
Thanks to the internal memory, the sensor can record ride data even without an Edge or compatible device. When the connection is restored, the data is automatically transferred and synchronized.
