SpeedFun Furious Ultra for Specialized 3.1 (Turbo Levo Gen4)
SpeedFun Furious Ultra is a tuning device for ebikes that removes the 25 km/h speed limit, fully exploiting the potential of the Specialized 3.1 motor.
This speed unlocking device is specifically designed for Specialized Turbo Levo gen4 ebikes equipped with the Specialized 3.1 motor and MasterMind T3 display.
All SpeedFun Furious Ultra speed unlocking devices can be activated and deactivated at will.
What is the SpeedFun Furious Ultra tuning for Specialized 3.1 motors (Turbo Levo gen4)?
The function of the Furious Ultra tuning device for Specialized 3.1 motors (Turbo Levo gen4) is to electronically manipulate the rear wheel rotation speed and communicate to the motor a speed always below 25 km/h in order to achieve a very high real speed with the motor active. The maximum speed limit will therefore be determined by the motor power combined with the power exerted by your own legs (info).
When the tuning device is active, since it does not communicate with the display, it will show halved data on any display (or app) starting from a certain threshold.
This tuning kit is compatible with Specialized Turbo Levo (gen4) ebikes equipped with the Specialized 3.1 motor and MasterMind T3.
In Furious Evo Ultra devices, you can choose the operating mode:
- – Always active, not deactivatable
- – Activatable/deactivatable by pedaling with the wheel lifted
- – If tuning is active before shutdown, it will also be active after restarting
- – If tuning is active before shutdown, it will be inactive after restarting
- – Tuning can be activated/deactivated with an external button (not included in the kit)

The device is supplied plug and play, ready to use. It installs very easily thanks to compatible connectors that require no physical modification of the ebike.

This device is not compatible with Specialized gen1, gen2, or gen3 ebikes equipped with TCU01 (blue LED), TCU01 (Mastermind), or TCD.
This device is not compatible with Specialized ebikes equipped with motor-controlled electronic shifting.

Once the SpeedFun speed unlocking device is installed, the electric bicycle, exceeding the 25 km/h limit, is classified as a moped and as such, if used in public places, requires approval and registration by the Motor Vehicle Department, is subject to road tax and insurance coverage, must have a license plate, cannot be used on bike lanes, and the rider is required to have a license and wear a helmet. Furthermore, riding a motor-assisted bicycle classified as a moped without observing these provisions results in administrative seizure of the vehicle and fines that vary depending on the violation committed. The manufacturer of the speed unlocking system declines all responsibility for any damage caused to pedal-assist bicycles on which the device is installed, as well as for direct or indirect damage to persons or property.
SpeedFun – Phase B snc declines all responsibility for any malfunctions caused by anti-tuning protections that motor manufacturers may activate.
Please note that modifying the bicycle may void the manufacturer's warranty.
SOFTWARE COMPATIBLE WITH SPEEDFUN DEVICES
The operation of SpeedFun devices is guaranteed for ebike software versions released up to the date of purchase of the device itself.
If the ebike is later updated with software for which the SpeedFun device was not designed, it may fail to function.
Before updating your motor, it is necessary to check compatibility with your SpeedFun device.
