Outright speed has always been the goal of the Demo, and the Demo Race is no different.

It features a new frame design with flexible wheel sizes that allows riders to run a 29-inch front wheel and a 27.5-inch rear wheel. It’s a special combination that has been tested extensively by World Champion Loïc Bruni in his quest for the perfect balance of grip and handling, but has only recently been approved by the UCI. That hasn’t stopped the Demo Race from taking both the Downhill World Championship and overall World Cup titles in its very first season.

Now Specialized offers the same winning combination out of the box.
