The Specialized Ambush helmet was created for those who want to be safe while tackling the trails with their mtb without having to resort to using a full-face helmet, in fact Ambush was created with the revolutionary MIPS SL technology, that is, the traditional mips system is integrated into the helmet padding to offer greater safety to the biker. Compatible with Angi sensor (optional). The new Angi "crash" sensor, connected via Android and iOs app, allows you to detect when the cyclist has an accident or falls from the bike and immediately sends a text message to the predefined contacts. Furthermore, the Angi sensor can be connected to Strava to track the activity via GPS.
The Ambush is a higher quality helmet than the Ambush Comp. It has a larger visor, which offers more coverage; the rear of the shell is more protective and the adjustment straps are attached to the outer sides of the shell, to reduce discomfort and friction, unlike the Comp model in which the adjustment straps start from the inside of the shell itself.
