The professional IceToolz 5–12V chain breaker is a high-quality workshop tool, designed for use on all the most common bicycle chains, including those from Shimano®, KMC®, Taya® and other brands. Thanks to its patented design and sturdy build, it is a reliable tool often used in professional bicycle workshops.
Made of quality Cr-Mo steel, the IceToolz chain breaker ensures strength, accuracy, and long-lasting durability. The ergonomic handle provides a comfortable grip, while the long pins on the rotating part allow for reduced force during use, improving control and smoothness of the operation.
The tool is equipped with an additional protective cover, which holds the chain in place during pin removal. By pressing the guard onto the chain, the chain breaker’s pin remains perfectly perpendicular to the pin being removed, reducing the risk of damage or breakage to the tool.
Another strong point is the dedicated seat on the rotation pins, which allows for precise breaking of the chain pin after assembly, making this chain breaker a true “all-in-one” solution. It can also be used in combination with the IceToolz chain removal aid (code 62H1).
After positioning the removal aid, the pin of any link can be pushed out precisely. It is important to push the pin out just enough to loosen the link, avoiding pushing it completely out of the outer link. The IceToolz chain breaker is also suitable for assembling quick links (compatible with IceToolz code 62D3).
