For years, time trial bikes have been designed very similarly - flat and aerodynamic tubing, heavy and difficult to ride frames, often sloppy braking. For flat and fast routes, as used in the past, these characteristics could perhaps be fine. With today's technically very demanding tracks, however, time trial bikes must be different. We went towards the limits of the UCI regulations by adding disc brakes, reducing weight and refining the position. The Shiv TT is the time trial bike available on the market that allows the widest and simplest customization of the riding position without compromising on aerodynamics and is ready for a new decade full of gold medals. - With time trial stages becoming increasingly technical and demanding, it was essential to take inspiration from our many years of experience in Research and Development and the feedback received from professionals, to create the fastest time trial bike on all courses, whether it's a prologue city or a long time trial with a large difference in altitude. It's not enough to make the fastest bike on a straight line. With this in mind, we've trimmed the weight and improved the handling of the Shiv TT, which now has a completely new profile.
- Position adjustment is another cornerstone of the Shiv TT's design. Thanks to years of data collection from professionals' Retül positionings, we have redone the geometry and the front end of the bike: spacers, extension, elbow rests, position, stability. The handlebar with stem is a single piece, simpler and lighter.
- Disc brakes are now a necessity in time trials, with variable weather, tight corners and less than perfect road surfaces. They allow you to brake just before the corner and add stability both when cornering and accelerating. And, don't worry, they don't add air resistance.
