Disc Shark® Technology

The Disc Shark® project stems from Galfer Bike's experience in downhill and enduro competitions. The first prototypes were developed in 2021 and used by athletes from the UCI DH Commencal Muc-Off team, contributing to Myriam Nicole's DH World Championship victory and numerous World Cup podiums achieved by Amaury Pierron and Thibaut Dapréla.

Subsequently, Galfer's Research and Development department further refined the project, collaborating with athletes such as Martin Maes (Orbea Fox Enduro Team) and Alex Marin (IJ Racing), giving rise to the current Disc Shark®, designed to offer maximum performance for Downhill and Enduro specialists, with technology also destined for the Cross Country world.
