Bicycle Specialized Turbo Levo 3 Alloy: Incredible Power and Performance for Your Off-Road Adventures

The Specialized Turbo Levo 3 Alloy is the ideal electric bike for those seeking exceptional performance on any trail. With a perfect combination of power, range, and ride quality, this e-MTB allows you to tackle any terrain with the confidence of having a powerful motor and advanced technology supporting your riding experience. For over 40 years, Specialized has been perfecting mountain bike design, and the Turbo Levo represents the pinnacle of this evolution, once again raising the bar in the world of e-MTBs.

Power and Autonomy Without Compromise

The Turbo Full Power 2.2 motor and the TCU MasterMind control unit amplify your pedal power up to four times, allowing you to conquer even the most challenging trails. With 90 Nm of torque and 565 watts of power, the motor can ensure a range of up to 5 hours of riding, letting you experience longer adventures without sacrificing power.

The 700 Wh integrated battery is designed to give you maximum duration without compromising the aesthetics of the bike. The TCU MasterMind is a customizable display that allows you to monitor the remaining battery percentage and adjust the assistance via the MicroTune on the handlebars, with increments of 10%. Thanks to this feature, you can precisely choose the level of assistance you want at any moment.

Adjustable Geometry for Every Type of Trail

The Turbo Levo is equipped with a Specialized M5 Premium Alloy frame, featuring an adjustable geometry that allows you to tailor it to your riding style and terrain. You can adjust the head angle between 63° and 65.5° and the bottom bracket height by 7 mm, to customize your riding experience according to your preferences. The 150 mm travel of the front and rear suspension perfectly absorbs shocks, making the bike ideal for tackling any type of obstacle, from rocks to the most challenging jumps.

The combination of differentiated wheels, with a 29" front wheel and a 27.5" rear wheel, ensures extremely agile and stable riding. The wide handlebar and centered position allow you to optimize traction and control, especially in curves. Additionally, the low bottom bracket and the relaxed head angle provide greater stability on more technical terrains.

Marzocchi Suspensions for Maximum Comfort

The Marzocchi Bomber Z1 fork with 160 mm (S1: 150 mm) and the Marzocchi Bomber inline rear shock provide optimal shock management, ensuring a smooth ride even on the toughest terrains. Thanks to the low-speed rebound adjustment, you can easily customize the suspension response to suit your riding style.

SRAM NX/GX Transmission and Powerful Brakes

The Turbo Levo 3 Alloy features a SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, with a SRAM GX Eagle derailleur for quick and precise shifting. The SRAM NX Eagle 11-50t cassette allows you to tackle any incline with ease, while the Praxis forged M30 crankset ensures impeccable power transfer.

The SRAM DB8 brakes, with 220 mm front and 200 mm rear discs, provide you with total control in any condition. The braking power is optimized to tackle steep descents and challenging terrains with complete safety.

Cockpit Details and Comfort

The 800 mm alloy handlebar and the Alloy Trail handlebar mount at 35 mm ensure a firm and stable grip, while the Body Geometry saddle and the TranzX dropper seat post (available in various lengths) provide optimal comfort during long rides. Additionally, the SWAT CC tool integrated into the head tube allows you to always have the necessary tools for quick repairs at hand.

Design e Stile

With its innovative and robust design, the Turbo Levo 3 Alloy is as practical as it is aesthetically appealing. The combination of a premium alloy frame and the integration of the most advanced components makes this bike not only powerful but also stylish and ready to tackle any challenge, whether on the fastest trails or the most technical routes.

A Complete Guide to Bike Sizes

Foreword: Not all bike sizes are the same

Each type of bike has a specific frame and often uses a different size scale. For example, a road bike with a 54cm frame might be considered a medium size by one brand, but a large by another.

Bicycle adjustment margins

Some types of bikes, like gravel bikes, offer a wide range of adjustments, adapting to different body types. Other models, however, have limitations in this regard. This is an important aspect to consider.

How to use size charts

We've created a simple guide to help you find the right bike size:

  1. Check out our size charts for each bike type.
  2. Learn more with specific tips to help you make the right choice.

Size Charts: Find Your Perfect Bike

Gravel and road bikes

Sizes are based on the length of the top tube (in cm), which determines the reach of the bike.

Cut Recommended height Horizontal tube length
XS Up to 157 cm 48-50 cm
S 157-167 cm 50-53 cm
M 168-178 cm 53-56 cm
THE 178-185 cm 56-58 cm
XL Over 185cm 58-62 cm

For gravel, measurements may vary slightly due to different geometries, but remain similar.

Mountain bike

MTBs are measured in inches, based on the seat tube.

Cut Recommended height Size (in inches)
XS Up to 157 cm 14"-16"
S 157-167 cm 15"-17"
M 168-178 cm 16"-19"
THE 178-185 cm 18"-20"
XL Over 185cm 20"-23"

Sizes also vary depending on the type of MTB: full-suspension , hardtail or fat bike .

Children's bikes

The size depends on the size of the wheels, often associated with age:

Age Wheel Size
1-3 years 12"
2-4 years 14"
4-6 years 16"
5-8 years 20"
8-10 years 24"
Over 10 years 26"/27.5"

What to do with half measures?

If you are between two sizes:

  • Comfort : Choose the larger size.
  • Performance : Go for the smaller size.

Final tips for choosing

  1. Consult the manufacturer's instructions : Always check the brand's guidelines.
  2. Ask an expert : a specialized workshop can help you choose based on your height, ideal reach and goals.
  3. Test the bike : If possible, test the model you intend to purchase.
