Setting up the Elemnt Companion application
The free ELEMNT Companion App walks you through a step-by-step setup so you can create custom activity profiles, track your performance, update firmware and share workout data effortlessly.

Touchless transition
Start your triathlon at the touch of a button and let RIVAL do all the work when it comes to tracking your activity. In triathlon mode, Touchless Transition allows the watch to automatically transition through the different stages of the triathlon, from swimming to cycling to running, without having to interact with it except at the start and finish.

Multisport handover
Connect your ELEMNT RIVAL and ELEMNT GPS Bike Computer profiles for an uninterrupted viewing experience during the cycling leg of your training or race. This feature allows the bike computer to display cumulative workout metrics from the watch, while you maintain control of the head unit itself.

Manual multisport
A quick 5k after the swim? The Manual Multisport feature allows you to use the lap button to switch between training profiles, when switching between activities, without interrupting the tracking of your total training.

Zoom buttons
Easy-access buttons let you zoom in and out on data with ease. Zoom in to see a single data field or zoom in to see up to six data fields.

In-app workout editor
Edit your triathlon or pool swim to get the most accurate representation of your activity. In the ELEMNT Companion App, you can manually edit each triathlon leg to match official race times or pool swim data to accurately replicate your training.

Color display
ELEMNT RIVAL has a vibrant 1.2" (30.4 mm) 64-color display that makes viewing data easier than ever.

Ambient light sensor
Automatically adjusts the watch screen display for optimal visibility both indoors and outdoors.

Ceramic bezel
ELEMNT RIVAL features a ceramic bezel to provide an enhanced GPS signal and increased scratch resistance.

Gorilla© glass lens
The thin, light and impact-resistant Gorilla® Glass screen ensures that ELEMNT RIVAL can withstand the harshest conditions.

Advanced driving dynamics with Tickr
When paired with the TICKR X, ANT+ Running Dynamics are recorded and displayed on the watch for real-time feedback. Viewing this data in real time can help you make adjustments to improve performance during training.

Heart rate transmission
ELEMNT RIVAL can transmit your heart rate to other devices such as bike computers, treadmills and third-party applications.

Dual band ANT+ and Bluetooth technology
ANT+ and Bluetooth can connect to your favorite heart rate monitors, power meters, speed and cadence sensors.

Fully customizable screen
Pre-configured with activity profiles that can be customized with your preferred metrics in the ELEMNT companion application.

Notifications of text messages, emails and phone calls
Provides notifications to alert you when important contacts try to contact you. Only available if you drive with your smartphone, and can be easily deactivated with Do Not Disturb mode. *Email notifications are only available with iOS devices.

Live Track Portal
Live Track allows you to share a link via text or email using the ELEMNT Companion App, so others can follow you in real time on the Live Track web portal. Perfect for having your loved ones safely locate you, being tracked by a coach, or even meeting other athletes on the go.

Kickr Smart Trainer Control
Use the ELEMNT RIVAL to control your KICKR BIKE, KICKR, KICKR CORE or KICKR SNAP in three different modes - level mode, ERG mode and passive mode.

USB rechargeable battery
Equipped with a USB rechargeable battery with up to 24 hours of battery life in GPS mode and 14 days in smartwatch mode.
