The tights are ideal for icy runs in winter when leg warmers and underpants are no longer enough. What you need is full leg length protection and a high level of insulation. RX Heavy is a highly insulating, textured Roubaix fabric that makes up the majority of the tights, and has now been treated with an eco-friendly water repellent coating for extra protection from light precipitation. This fabric securely protects the pelvis and legs from biting wind and cold air. RX Light is used for the back of the leg section, making this area that moves the most even more breathable.
The fit of the bibs is in the "regularFit" category, which means they are slightly compressive where needed, but are not as tight as the racingFits. The fabric sections are pre-shaped and stitched to fully hug and support the thigh muscles, knees and calves during movement - so they follow your movements with every pedal stroke.
