Compound SmartEVO Compound – World Tour Level Racing Performance
The P ZERO™ Race TLR uses the same advanced SmartEVO Compound shared with other high-performance tires in the P ZERO™ range.
The SmartEVO Compound is the most advanced racing formulation for road use ever developed by Pirelli, born from experience in top-tier Motorsport competitions and direct collaboration with World Tour factory teams.
This compound uses a combination of three different polymers, each designed to ensure a perfect balance between opposing characteristics such as:
high grip
smooth rolling
adhesion
low rolling resistance
The ternary polymer mixture with “intelligent” behavior allows:
better grip on dry tarmac
superior performance on wet tarmac
reduction of rolling resistance
The SmartEVO Compound is a high-performance compound, fine-tuned for the most modern road cycling disciplines, from local races and the World Tour to the most demanding rides in variable weather and road conditions.
