Pinarello has always stood out by creating absolutely unique bikes, both in terms of aesthetics and, even more importantly, performance. We believe that the DOGMA F achieves the perfect balance between form and function.

  • CARBON M40X: The DOGMA evolves, changing its skin to surprise you once again. Pinarello tested this new carbon fiber lay-up on the X-Light models and on the Ineos Grenadiers team bikes. This new fiber has exceptional tensile strength that allowed reaching the next level in terms of performance and lateral stiffness on the latest generation of DOGMA F.
  • DOWN TUBE: The down tube has been completely redesigned to reduce its thickness and thus improve the frontal aerodynamic performance and aerodynamic resistance of the frame.
  • NEW AERO-KEEL BB: The new DOGMA F down tube is rotated by 3.5°, creating a keel shape that improves aerodynamic performance by 1.2% in the bottom bracket area.
  • TOP TUBE: The exclusive "nose" shape of the head tube, first introduced on the DOGMA F8 in 2014, evolves again, reducing the volume and width of the area by 8 mm with a slimmer design to improve frontal aerodynamic penetration.
  • HEADSET: To reduce the width so much, Pinarello had to design an innovative elliptical head tube and a completely new headset with differentiated bearing diameters, wider at the bottom and narrower at the top.
  • NEW THRU AXLES: New shorter thru axles. The bolt on the right side of the fork has been integrated into the carbon, eliminating the external hole. The same has been done on the frame with the further integration of the rear derailleur hanger. This solution improves both the design and aerodynamic performance of the frame.
  • NEW WAVE FORK: The new slimmer fork design improves aerodynamics and, thanks to a 47 mm rake tested with feedback from professional cyclists, improves handling and speed on descents.
  • INTEGRATED SEATPOST CLAMP: The seatpost clamp has been reduced in size and fully integrated inside the frame. This new solution reduces weight, improves design, and increases system cleanliness by limiting the amount of dust and sweat that could reach the seatpost.
  • NEW TALON FAST: The new Talon Ultra Fast with integrated cockpit is lighter and more aerodynamic. Designed with a natural twist of the lever position to allow cyclists to assume a more aerodynamic position safely.

A Complete Guide to Bike Sizes

Foreword: Not all bike sizes are the same

Each type of bike has a specific frame and often uses a different size scale. For example, a road bike with a 54cm frame might be considered a medium size by one brand, but a large by another.

Bicycle adjustment margins

Some types of bikes, like gravel bikes, offer a wide range of adjustments, adapting to different body types. Other models, however, have limitations in this regard. This is an important aspect to consider.

How to use size charts

We've created a simple guide to help you find the right bike size:

  1. Check out our size charts for each bike type.
  2. Learn more with specific tips to help you make the right choice.

Size Charts: Find Your Perfect Bike

Gravel and road bikes

Sizes are based on the length of the top tube (in cm), which determines the reach of the bike.

Cut Recommended height Horizontal tube length
XS Up to 157 cm 48-50 cm
S 157-167 cm 50-53 cm
M 168-178 cm 53-56 cm
THE 178-185 cm 56-58 cm
XL Over 185cm 58-62 cm

For gravel, measurements may vary slightly due to different geometries, but remain similar.

Mountain bike

MTBs are measured in inches, based on the seat tube.

Cut Recommended height Size (in inches)
XS Up to 157 cm 14"-16"
S 157-167 cm 15"-17"
M 168-178 cm 16"-19"
THE 178-185 cm 18"-20"
XL Over 185cm 20"-23"

Sizes also vary depending on the type of MTB: full-suspension , hardtail or fat bike .

Children's bikes

The size depends on the size of the wheels, often associated with age:

Age Wheel Size
1-3 years 12"
2-4 years 14"
4-6 years 16"
5-8 years 20"
8-10 years 24"
Over 10 years 26"/27.5"

What to do with half measures?

If you are between two sizes:

  • Comfort : Choose the larger size.
  • Performance : Go for the smaller size.

Final tips for choosing

  1. Consult the manufacturer's instructions : Always check the brand's guidelines.
  2. Ask an expert : a specialized workshop can help you choose based on your height, ideal reach and goals.
  3. Test the bike : If possible, test the model you intend to purchase.
