Armour is an insert that offers extra protection almost 360° around the air chamber.
It represents the maximum in terms of protection and performance for tires and is the very latest frontier of Aither 1.1 technology.
The insert is positioned between the tire and the inner tube, offering 15 mm of extra protection under the tread and 2/3 mm of extra protection on the sides of the tire. Tannus Armour was indeed created to ensure that all cyclists have maximum protection against punctures and the highest performance.
With Armour you will be free to inflate your tire to very low pressures without risking pinch flats and/or damage to the rim. In addition to this, it provides significant support to the sidewall in corners, resulting in increased grip and comfort.
