Two standard 16-slot bearing shell tools (e.g. Park Tool BBT-9 and/or BBT-19) and one press tool (e.g. Park Tool HHP-2 or HHP-3) are required for assembly.

- for racing bike cranks in frames with 86.5 x 41 mm housing
- for MTB cranks in frames with 89.5 / 92 x 41 mm housing (not compatible with Trek BB90 housings)
A press (e.g. Park Tool HHP-2 or HHP-3) is required for assembly.
