Alpha Rib Technology: the heart of innovation
The core of the new Meilenstein ART is the Alpha Rib Technology (ART), a patented technology that revolutionizes the rim structure.
Unlike traditional rims, based on a hollow structure, ART introduces a network of internal carbon ribs inside the rim.
This internal architecture allows to:

Integrated carbon spokes: direct connection with the road
ART technology not only improves the rim but also the spoke interface.
The full carbon spokes are bonded directly into the internal rib structure, without unnecessary bends or mechanical connectors. This respects the natural path of the carbon fibers, increasing tensile strength and reducing material fatigue.
The result is an extremely direct, responsive, and precise riding sensation, with immediate power transfer between cyclist and road.
DRS Aerodynamics: speed and stability in every condition
The Meilenstein ART are designed to be fast and stable.
The aerodynamic profile DRS – Drag Reduction Shape, combined with an internal width of 22.9 mm, is optimized for tires 28 mm and above, now the standard for performance and comfort.

R2R Design and Penta-Fly hub: stiffness and total control
The R2R (Rim-to-Rim) design is another distinctive element of Lightweight. Each carbon spoke runs in a single continuous line from rim to rim, passing through the hub without interruptions.
All this is completed by the Penta-Fly hub, characterized by oversized flanges that increase torsional and lateral stiffness, ensuring stability even during the most violent accelerations and the most intense braking. The compact hub body also helps reduce aerodynamic drag.
RCT technology and LCC materials: performance and sustainability
To create such a complex structure, Lightweight uses Reusable Core Technology (RCT). A removable core allows the creation of hollow rims with extremely precise internal ribs. Once the process is complete, the core is extracted and reused, reducing waste.
The material used is Lightweight Custom Composite (LCC), a proprietary composite developed to achieve the best possible balance between weight, stiffness, responsiveness, and durability.
German craftsmanship and exclusive finish
Every Lightweight wheel is made with a high degree of manual craftsmanship, fully respecting the Made in Germany tradition. The Meilenstein ART are designed and produced in Friedrichshafen, where advanced technology and strict quality control have coexisted for decades.
From an aesthetic point of view, the new Smooth Carbon Finish marks a further step forward: a smooth and refined surface, without the classic visible texture, which best expresses the modern and technological character of these wheels.
