SpeedCORE™ Technology: faster, more flexible, more resistant

The P ZERO™ Race TLR introduces the innovative SpeedCORE™ technology in the 120 TPI casing, a tubeless-ready solution developed by Pirelli and currently patent pending.

The SpeedCORE™ structure involves the use of a mixed compound with aramid particles that lines the inner layer of the tyre. This technology allows for:

• increased rolling efficiency

• improved mechanical resistance

• better air retention

• greater overall flexibility

The result is a tyre that is less rigid but faster, significantly improving overall road performance.

SpeedCORE™ technology is derived from Pirelli's experience in the automotive sector and is also made possible thanks to the new Italian production facility located near the Milan headquarters.

SmartEVO Compound – World Tour Level Racing Performance

The P ZERO™ Race TLR uses the same advanced SmartEVO Compound, shared with other high-performance tyres in the P ZERO™ range.

The SmartEVO Compound is the most evolved racing formulation for road use ever developed by Pirelli, born from experience in top Motorsport competitions and direct collaboration with World Tour factory teams.

This compound uses a combination of three different polymers, each designed to ensure a perfect balance between opposing characteristics such as:

• high grip

• rolling efficiency

• adhesion

• low rolling resistance

The ternary polymer mixture with "intelligent" behavior allows for:

• better grip on dry asphalt

• superior performance on wet asphalt

• reduced rolling resistance

The SmartEVO Compound is a high-performance compound, fine-tuned for the most modern road cycling disciplines, from local and World Tour races to the most demanding rides in variable weather and road conditions.

SpeedCORE™ Tubeless Ready Structure

The SpeedCORE™ is the most advanced tubeless-ready structure ever developed by Pirelli for high-performance road cycling.

The construction includes:

• a thin, impermeable layer

• a rubber compound infused with aramid particles

• complete coating of the inner part of the tyre

Thanks to the presence of aramid in the compound, the structure ensures:

• greater mechanical resistance
