Specialized Chisel Comp Bicycle – Lightweight and Race XC Performance
The Specialized Chisel Comp is the world's lightest alloy hardtail bike, designed to offer superior XC performance and agility on every type of terrain. With a weight reduced by 18.4% compared to similar models in the category, the Chisel inherits the kinematics and geometry of its bigger sister Epic 8, ensuring efficient pedaling, comfort, and optimal control.
SPEED METAL Technology
Thanks to the D’Aluisio Smartweld frame, every tube is hydroformed and optimized with differentiated thicknesses and profiles. The result is a frame stiff where needed and flexible where necessary, for efficient pedaling, vibration absorption, and maximum control.
Race XC performance
The suspensions with 110 mm travel tuned Ride Dynamics allow you to tackle any trail with confidence and speed. The suspension DNA of the Epic 8 and the progressive geometry refined on the technical World Cup courses are present in the Chisel, making it perfect for both intense training and competitions.

A Complete Guide to Bike Sizes
Foreword: Not all bike sizes are the same
Each type of bike has a specific frame and often uses a different size scale. For example, a road bike with a 54cm frame might be considered a medium size by one brand, but a large by another.
Bicycle adjustment margins
Some types of bikes, like gravel bikes, offer a wide range of adjustments, adapting to different body types. Other models, however, have limitations in this regard. This is an important aspect to consider.
How to use size charts
We've created a simple guide to help you find the right bike size:
- Check out our size charts for each bike type.
- Learn more with specific tips to help you make the right choice.
