MIPS Brain Protection
MIPS Brain Protection is a low friction layer within the helmet that causes the skull to roll relative to the helmet upon impact. This process substantially reduces the impact force while preventing damage to the brain. MIPS determined that very often during a fall, the head hits the ground at a certain angle, which causes rotational shock to the brain. Thanks to the MIPS layer, the helmet absorbs most of the shock and protects you during your activities.
