The Chisel is the lightest alloy dual-suspension bike in the world. It is 18.4% lighter than similar models in the category and with the kinematics and geometry of its bigger brother Epic 8, the Chisel offers excellent performance on every ride.
SPEED METAL : Thanks to D'Aluisio Smartweld, the Chisel boasts the lightest aluminum XC frame in its class. Each frame tube is highly manipulated and features differentiated thicknesses and profiles that provide stiffness where you need it most – for efficiency, for vibration absorption, for comfort and optimal control.
CAPABILITY : With 110mm of travel, Ride Dynamics-tuned suspension, the Chisel’s performance pedigree can be traced directly back to the Epic 8, our World Cup race machine. The DNA of the Epic 8’s advanced suspension kinematics, Ride Dynamics-tuned suspension, and progressive geometry honed on technical World Cup courses can all be found in the Chisel, making it more than capable of tackling varied terrain with confidence and speed.
