The rim is designed with a 45mm deep and 26mm wide NACA profile, specifically designed for full performance on flat or hilly terrain. The new rim throat shape makes it easier than ever to mount tubeless and tubeless tires. The UST Tubeless guide means there is no tube, no friction, and more air volume for a smoother ride. The result is a faster ride with ultra-low rolling resistance. Refined spokes make this wheelset 80g lighter than the previous version, the Cosmic Pro Carbon UST Disc. Combined with our all-new Infinity hubs, for a fast and responsive feel of the wheels on every turn, they are stiffer and more efficient.
The Cosmic SL 45 Disc has been specifically designed for disc brakes, with an optimized spoke count and lacing. Available exclusively in a Center Lock version, they are compatible with 12 mm thru axles and can be converted to quick release with the included adapters. They are available for Shimano and SRAM XD-R cassettes and can be adapted to the Campagnolo system with an optional drivetrain body.
These wheels are designed, engineered and patented by Mavic in Annecy, France, and are 100% handcrafted in our European carbon factory.
