Cervelo S5 Ultegra Di2 Bicycle - Black/Silver
Cervélo S5 Ultegra Di2 Bicycle
The ultimate expression of aerodynamics and speed on the road
The Cervélo S5 Ultegra Di2 is one of the highest-performing aero road bikes in the world, designed for cyclists who seek maximum speed, aerodynamic efficiency, and responsiveness in races. It has become a benchmark in international professional cycling, accompanying numerous athletes to the top of WorldTour competitions, confirming itself as one of the most successful platforms for speed specialists.
From the success of champions like Wout van Aert, who delivered extraordinary performances in major stage races, to victories achieved on the most prestigious international stages, the characteristic V-shaped handlebar and distinctive fork design have become a recognizable symbol in the world of professional cycling.
The new Cervélo S5 inherits this legacy and takes it to a higher level: it is more than 6 Watts faster than the previous generation, weighs 124 grams less, and maintains the combination of stability, precision, and responsiveness that made the model famous.
Watchword: aerodynamics
The new S5 is 6.3 Watts faster than the previous version, a figure obtained through wind tunnel tests at a speed of 30 mph.
This improvement is the result of a significant design evolution that primarily involved the front area of the bicycle, but also the aerodynamic integration of the seat tube and the rear wheel.
Cervélo has optimized every surface to reduce drag, allowing the new S5 to be at least 5 Watts faster than bicycles from its main direct competitors in aerodynamic tests.
Cervélo HB19 One-Piece Carbon Integrated Handlebar
The new HB19 One-Piece Carbon integrated handlebar represents one of the key elements of the S5's aerodynamic efficiency.
Plus-Four technology provides an upper handlebar section that is 4 cm narrower than the drops (e.g., 38 cm / 42 cm), allowing the rider to maintain a more aerodynamic position when gripping the tops and ensuring greater stability during sprints and descents when using the drops.
All available sizes comply with UCI standards, including the most recent regulations.
The bicycle also offers the possibility to replace the handlebar to achieve the ideal fit within the first 60 days of purchase, thanks to the different available configurations.
Faster and lighter
Despite the increase in aerodynamic surfaces, the new Cervélo S5 has been lightened by 124 grams compared to the previous generation.
The increased size of the fork and head tube required significant optimization of the carbon and hardware, resulting in a more efficient frame without compromising stiffness, control, and performance.
Reserve 57|64 Turbulent Aero Wheels
The new Reserve 57|64 Turbulent Aero wheels were developed jointly by Cervélo and Reserve, designed and wind tunnel tested simultaneously with the frame of the new S5.
The differentiated profile between the front and rear wheels was designed to improve airflow. The asymmetry of the rear wheel integrates perfectly with the seat tube, reducing turbulence and improving overall aerodynamic efficiency.
Compared to the previous Reserve 52|63 set, the new wheels guarantee an aerodynamic saving of 3 Watts while maintaining the same weight.
Wheel specifications:
- Front wheel: Reserve 57TA
- Rear wheel: Reserve 64TA
Custom fit and maximum comfort
The new S5's one-piece handlebar-stem system significantly improves aerodynamic performance, but Cervélo has also paid particular attention to the rider's position.
Nine different combinations of handlebar and stem are available. At the time of purchase, the authorized Cervélo dealer can help in choosing the most suitable configuration at no additional cost.

A Complete Guide to Bike Sizes
Foreword: Not all bike sizes are the same
Each type of bike has a specific frame and often uses a different size scale. For example, a road bike with a 54cm frame might be considered a medium size by one brand, but a large by another.
Bicycle adjustment margins
Some types of bikes, like gravel bikes, offer a wide range of adjustments, adapting to different body types. Other models, however, have limitations in this regard. This is an important aspect to consider.
How to use size charts
We've created a simple guide to help you find the right bike size:
- Check out our size charts for each bike type.
- Learn more with specific tips to help you make the right choice.
Size Charts: Find Your Perfect Bike
Gravel and road bikes
Sizes are based on the length of the top tube (in cm), which determines the reach of the bike.
| Cut | Recommended height | Horizontal tube length |
|---|---|---|
| XS | Up to 157 cm | 48-50 cm |
| S | 157-167 cm | 50-53 cm |
| M | 168-178 cm | 53-56 cm |
| THE | 178-185 cm | 56-58 cm |
| XL | Over 185cm | 58-62 cm |
For gravel, measurements may vary slightly due to different geometries, but remain similar.
Mountain bike
MTBs are measured in inches, based on the seat tube.
| Cut | Recommended height | Size (in inches) |
|---|---|---|
| XS | Up to 157 cm | 14"-16" |
| S | 157-167 cm | 15"-17" |
| M | 168-178 cm | 16"-19" |
| THE | 178-185 cm | 18"-20" |
| XL | Over 185cm | 20"-23" |
Sizes also vary depending on the type of MTB: full-suspension , hardtail or fat bike .
Children's bikes
The size depends on the size of the wheels, often associated with age:
| Age | Wheel Size |
|---|---|
| 1-3 years | 12" |
| 2-4 years | 14" |
| 4-6 years | 16" |
| 5-8 years | 20" |
| 8-10 years | 24" |
| Over 10 years | 26"/27.5" |
What to do with half measures?
If you are between two sizes:
