Shipping

 

In case of delivery of goods inside damaged packages or envelopes it is essential to accept the goods with RESERVATION.

At the time of delivery of the order we recommend you to:

  • Carefully check the packages and their quantity
  • Immediately inform us of any damage found only after opening the packages
  • In case of DAMAGED PACKAGES: accept the goods with “reservation: damaged / opened / wet / dirty package / etc..".
  • In case of MISSING PACKAGES: accept the goods writing on the courier's handheld device or paper slip “specific reservation - missing package(s)".


If it is not possible to make a SPECIFIC RESERVATION as indicated in the points above, it is advisable to REFUSE THE GOODS and notify us immediately. In any case, any damage/anomalies must be reported to us within and no later than 5 days from receipt of the goods.

 

Order management

Francesconi Bike communicates the correct receipt of the order by sending a copy of it to the email address provided by the customer at the time of order.

This confirmation message will repeat all the data entered by the customer, who undertakes to verify its correctness and promptly communicate any corrections, and the details of the ordered products.

The quantities of items shown on the website www.francesconibike.com correspond in 99% of cases to those actually available in our warehouses, but in cases of simultaneous orders of the same item by multiple users, cases of unavailability may occur; in these cases our team undertakes to promptly contact the customer to propose the following:

  • An alternative product of equal quality level at no additional cost;
  • Wait for the supply of the missing item and related communication of waiting times;
  • Partial refund for the amount of the missing item;
  • Total refund for the order amount if the customer wishes to cancel the order.

 

Order fulfillment

All orders received by 1:00 PM (Monday to Friday) and paid by PayPal or credit card will be processed and handed over to the chosen courier at checkout the same day and delivery to your home will take place within 1 or 2 days, for Sicily, Calabria and Sardinia the times are 2 or 3 days while for abroad delivery will take from 3 to 5 days.

Francesconi Bike relies on TNT and BRT couriers in Italy. Foreign orders are entrusted to FedEx and BRT.

Francesconi Bike will select the courier for shipments of orders from time to time, relying on the courier that guarantees the most efficient service.

For all orders concerning bicycles without purchasing the Bike Assembly service, they will be shipped in the original box as sent by our supplier, while purchasing the separate service of Bike Assembly preparation times of the package may extend up to 7 working days to allow our mechanics to carry out the assembly.

It may occasionally happen that the shipped bicycles arrive in a different box than the original.

In-store pickup

At the time of order fulfillment, the customer can choose to pick up the goods of their order at:

Shipping costs

Costs will be calculated based on the shipping location at checkout.

If the order concerns a bicycle, it is possible to purchase the assembly service separately, at a cost of €59.00 Assembly .

Otherwise the bike will be shipped in the box as it arrives from our distributor, after general inspection.

Assembly of a bike for shipping takes about 1 or 2 working days.

Tracking

Once your order has been handed over to the courier TNT, GLS, Fedex, DHL we will send you the tracking code by e-mail.
