- Always with the aim of developing the best bike for road racing, Specialized used Rider-First Engineered™ technology, to ensure that the new Tarmac was balanced and easy to handle in every frame size. Thanks to the feedback received from athletes from the professional teams SD Workx, Soudal Quick-Step, Total Energies and Bora-hansgrohe and based on their thousands of kilometers on the road, they have made changes to the Tarmac. A new balance for the ride quality between the front end and the rear, so that even very long days in the saddle are more comfortable, without compromising the legendary handling and reactivity of the Tarmac.
- On the path to creating the Tarmac, Specialized created a clean and integrated cockpit. Cable routing is designed for any configuration - including mechanical shifting, a traditional stem, round diameter handlebars, etc. At the same time it maintained its aerodynamic characteristics.
