The SRAM X-SYNC 2™ Eagle™ chainring is radically new. SRAM engineers have tested the performance and wear of thousands of X-SYNC™ chainrings. Gears of every size have been subjected to every stress imaginable, both in the laboratory and off-road. The goal was a chainring that increased the performance of the Eagle™ groupset in all conditions. The result: the gear teeth are longer and shaped like a saw blade to perfectly engage the Eagle™ chain. The new SRAM gear thus increases chain tension and pedaling efficiency. At the same time, friction, chain noise and wear are reduced.
