The T-Type derailleur is mounted around the same axis as the wheel, in direct contact with the cassette thanks to the new Hangerless interface and the revolutionary Full Mount mounting method which creates a much more robust connection by gripping both parts of the frame.
Replaceable protection plates
Installation and connection is done via the reliable standard Eagle AXS shifter set-up and connection procedure. The compact profile which houses replaceable protective covers and the chain tension maintenance function increase the reliability of the gearbox in the most intense phases of the race.

New AXS Pod controller: ergonomics and lightness
The updated ergonomics and greater range of adjustments of the AXS Pod controller transform the impulse activated by the rider into a new experience that can be customized both in the functions, through the AXS app, and in the adjustment of the buttons.
The new design features two “click and fire” buttons with an intuitive action that requires the ideal amount of rider input to activate.
The AXS Pod controller is lightweight, has a very high quality finish and can be mounted on the left or right thanks to its unique reversible design.
The Flattop chain is the strongest Sram has ever made
This is the strongest chain ever created by Sram and was designed to specifically optimize the Eagle drivetrain. Its aesthetics are revolutionary: the new T-Type design features the Flattop profile with a flat top, a shape that maximizes shifting performance and makes the look of the bike unmistakable.
The chain dedicated to the XX Eagle shifter features a very long-lasting chrome finish and drilled pins.
