Braking® presents the evolution of its top-of-the-range INCAS braking system with the introduction of version 2.0. Always rigorously Made in Italy, it has been designed to meet the needs of every type of biker: from the more aggressive Downhiller or Enduro rider, to the athlete who competes in XC and Marathon races, without neglecting a braking power that is also perfectly suited to modern E-bikes. The new In.Ca.S. 2.0 uses higher operating pressures, with the same force impressed on the lever, compared to the previous version and to the other braking systems on the market.
In fact, the higher pressure within the system allows for greater braking force, but at the same time maintains modulable braking, even with a millimeter shift of the lever using just one finger. This radically reduces hand and arm fatigue and allows every MTBiker to have fun during all the descents he will have to face, guaranteeing him the awareness of using the best braking system for mountain bikes on the market.

In case. - Interchangeable CARtridge System

The In.Ca.S. technology offers the possibility of customizing the braking system using different diameters of the pumping element to allow the system to be adapted both to the feeling of the biker and to the type of route. The cartridges are easily and quickly replaceable to quickly change the configuration and operating pressures of the system.

  • 9 mm - Power and modulation
    The pads gradually approach the disc, making it possible to better dose the braking force, guaranteeing a feeling capable of satisfying every rider.
  • 10 mm - On/off type readiness and braking (to be purchased separately)
    The 10 mm cartridge ofers greater readiness than the 9 mm variant, in fact by displacing a greater volume of oil, with the same force impressed, it allows to reduce rider fatigue and guarantees a more aggressive braking feeling.

Three-Function Master Cylinder

The pump was developed with the aim of separating the mechanical functionality from the hydraulic one, keeping both independent from the support structure.

  • Hydraulic functionality:
    Innovative system of interchangeable hydraulic cartridges containing pumping elements of different diameters which allow to vary the volume of fluid moved by the piston pusher and/or the speed/pressure with which the fluid itself is moved.
  • Mechanical functionality: the linkage can be modified independently of the advancement of the pumping element, for a perfectly ergonomic adjustment of the lever. Displacement pump advance can be adjusted to minimize displacement pump dead stroke.
  • Support structure:
    The aluminum lever body is machined from solid and machined using CNC machine tools.

Motorcycle inspired CNC Caliper

Billet aluminum caliper, with subsequent CNC machining, in order to obtain a perfect finish, reduced weight and high structural strength.
Two 26 mm pistons guarantee powerful and effective braking, while the external shape of the caliper is optimized to increase the body's heat exchange surface and structural strength, to best support the forces applied during braking.
The pistons slide on 4x4 mm square o-rings derived from motorcycles and are subjected to hard oxidation to increase their resistance and at the same time reduce their surface wear, optimizing their life.


Lever configuration

  • Front brake: Left lever (housing length: 950 mm).
  • Rear brake: Right lever (housing length: 1850 mm).

Complete and pre-assembled brake kit with hoses, oil, pads and hydraulic hose length reduction accessory kit included.
Brake discs and adapters not included.
Carbon-metal pads included.

Compatible with 3 mm disc with dedicated thickness.
