In winter, muscles warm up more slowly. The Q36.5 Winter Tights use advanced materials that guarantee portability and promote the evaporation of sweat. Thermoregulating properties combine with the intelligent cut and 3D molded chamois to provide all-day comfort even in the most challenging winter conditions.
The Winter Tights are made with proprietary UF Thermo Plus fabric. This is an innovative material with an extremely dense construction that works much more efficiently than the materials used in the construction of traditional winter tights. The DWR treatment applied to the external part of the fabric protects the legs and buttocks from splashes of water. The internal part of the fabric, made with special hydrophobic polyester thread, insulates and wicks moisture away from the skin. Like all Q36.5 cycling shorts and tights, the Winter Tight has been pre-shaped for the cycling position. The area behind the knee has been shaped to avoid excess material and avoid annoying irritation. Minimal seams and strategically placed panels ensure freedom of movement without pressure or restrictions. For the interface between the saddle and the pad, a proprietary cut is used that eliminates the central seam that usually causes pressure and discomfort when in the saddle. The panel replicates the contact surface with the saddle and naturally adapts to different types of saddles. To increase comfort in the pelvic area, an anti-stress cut allows for greater freedom of movement and the absence of pressure points. The pad uses a new three-dimensional Super Molded Anatomic construction that best follows the anatomy of the human body and offers greater comfort when pedaling. The foam padding has been calibrated according to a scheme of variable densities and thicknesses in the perineal, ischial, genital and buttock areas, with an extremely sophisticated regulation of overall comfort. The pad uses a unique molding technique that produces smooth variations in the thickness of the padding, significantly improving contact with the cyclist's skin. The reflective inserts that have been inserted into the tights have been made of exceptionally elastic material so as not to reduce the flexibility of the material or the pedaling action. The Winter Tights are suitable for the coldest conditions, starting from 5° C up to -5° C and above.
