With our FURTHER DRIVE technology, consisting of two new technical features that both aim to ensure that the OSPW X increases the ability of the drivetrain to function efficiently over time.
Active Debris Removal (ADR) Feature: A unique new dust cover design that sits securely anchored in a recess in the pulley, completely enclosing the bearing. This is paired with a blade-like groove structure that surrounds the dust cover and, as the pulley rotates, dynamically pulls debris out of the pulley.
The ADR is paired with our new 14 and 20 tooth solid disc pulleys, simply called ALPHA.
The ALPHA album features a two-piece structure. A separate narrow and wide tooth profile produced in a composite material that offers prolonged wear protection and noise reduction. As well as a solid aluminum disc that eliminates the potential for external objects getting stuck between the pulley spokes, whilst increasing the strength and rigidity of the pulley design.
FURTHER DRIVE technology is combined with a completely new cage structure that uses increased material construction - without adding unnecessary bulk - making it perfectly in line with the ruggedness that the Eagle drivetrain is celebrated for. But the real value is found in the ability of FURTHER DRIVE technology to deliver top-level performance deep into races or into the season when riders need it most.
