At just 1255g, this wheelset strikes the perfect balance between lightness, stiffness and aerodynamics.
The rim is designed with a 45mm deep and 27mm wide NACA-inspired full carbon profile. It is made with a complex structure that optimizes rigidity for the same weight. Its outer layer features our signature UD² finish.
The rim is not drilled, so it does not require the use of rim tape to achieve perfect air tightness: a guarantee for a hassle-free tubeless fitment.
The 20 elliptical carbon fiber spokes and the tall, thin flanges of the carbon hubs provide a proven aerodynamic advantage.
The spokes are made of unidirectional carbon fibers, less elastic. The spokes go from one side of the rim to the other through the hub (R2R technology), creating a single inseparable element, providing rigidity to the wheel and eliminating the need to mechanically join the spokes to the hub itself.
Inside the carbon hub shells, the axles are paired with self-adjusting sealed cartridge bearings for perfect preload. At the rear, the ID360 freewheel system provides instant engagement (40 engagement points = 9°) and low friction. The hubs are thru-axle compatible (12x100 front and 12x142 rear) and are made for Center Lock brake rotors.
These wheels are designed, engineered and patented by Mavic in Annecy and are 100% handmade in France.
