E-BLOCK™ shifting technology is a fundamental re-definition of external chain shifting. On the E-BLOCK™ cassette, the chain has a precise link position on each sprocket. The sprocket architecture has been designed to work with both the internal and external links of the chain, allowing for extremely precise gear changes both in and out. The result is precise and robust shifting performance in any situation, even with full engine support.
