To design the best drivetrain possible, every detail of the crankset has been examined and revised. The current XX1 Eagle DUB Carbon crank is the lightest, stiffest and strongest to date. DUB technology optimizes and simplifies the interaction between the crank axle and the bottom bracket, thereby improving durability. DUB cranks have thus become simpler, more universal and more durable.

The SRAM XX1 Eagle DUB Carbon crank is only suitable for use with the Quarq DZero XX1 and XX1 Boost Power Meter spiders. Direct Mount gears cannot be used.

Strength and stiffness where needed, lightness where needed. SRAM design with unique carbon sheath increases thickness and stiffness in areas of particularly high stress. The tapered and stepped carbon architecture maximizes weight savings without sacrificing strength.


Boost is a wheel and drivetrain spec that offers improved frame geometry with shorter chainstays, wider and stiffer suspension, more gear options, more clearance for wider tires, and increased wheel stiffness and strength.


Eagle technology represents SRAM's current 1-speed drivetrain technology. Eagle is a lighter, simpler, more durable and easier to use drivetrain. Eagle features all-new 1-speed components that provide even greater durability and performance, while offering a significant weight advantage over other drivetrain solutions. Eagle technology also has an extended gear ratio range of 500%, making it equal to 2x11 units.

DUB extension

The bottom bracket axle to bearing ratio is at the heart of DUB technology. This is where stiffness meets durability. Taking conventional thinking a step further and making everything easier and better - by integrating the relationship between chainring, crank, axle and bottom bracket. It is this approach to developing a complete system that means better transmission performance.
