Lightweight Obermayer Evo Schwarz Ed Disc wheels

The Lightweight Obermayer Evo Discs represent the latest innovation from the German company, which has always stood out for the production of super light wheels.

The new Obermayer Evo Discs are the state of the art in the Lightweight house, made with cutting-edge technologies and with a declared weight of just 1,230 grams (568 grams for the front, 662 grams for the rear).
If we consider the tubeless ready rim with a 48 mm profile, it is one of the lightest models on the market.

In particular, Lightweight underlines not so much lightness as the very high stiffness/weight ratio, obtained thanks to the construction structure completely in composite made with highly advanced technologies.

The rim is made with what is called LCC-Carbon (Lightweight Custom Composite Carbon), a particular type of composite also used in the aerospace sector. A particular type of foam is inserted inside the rim which, with a minimum weight increase, allows to increase torsional stiffness and sturdiness, but also to improve the absorption of vibrations.
