The Salopette 2.0 is an evolution, an improved version of the existing Wolf Salopette, with a new construction to increase comfort during training. Q36.5 has developed a new suspender system. The anti-stress panel has been introduced in the genital area to relieve pressure and increase mobility.

For the most competitive cyclists, seasons (other than racing seasons) are nothing more than a moment of waiting. The frequent photos portraying professionals training in the Canary Islands, Mallorca or Qatar can lead one to think - mistakenly - that the competitive season is just around the corner. Riding professionals wear shorts, knee pads or chaps. Once you get to the bar, you proclaim to the world: “I'm a runner, I don't wear tights! ” The tactile sensation of your tights is light years away from the "race feel" of your favorite shorts (to find out more about the Q36.5 winter tights – a real racing weapon – consult the page dedicated to the Long Salopette). Then insist on wearing shorts with braces and leggings until you reach the limit of thermal comfort, 7°, 6°, 5°C, just to keep the sense of anticipation high, to have the look of someone who is ready to enter the race... If you are able to understand these mania and this passion, you will also understand the reason why Salopette Wolf exists, the new thermal shorts from Q36.5. This is not the classic product made with winter fabrics such as Roubaix microfibre or similar. Instead, it is the Wolf 2.0 Q36.5 Salopette reconstructed with a cutting-edge, high-density fabric made on Lake Como*. The product keeps the body warm with temperatures between 5 and 15°C, also protecting from the rain, despite weighing only 180g (i.e. less - probably - than your favorite shorts). The "race feel" is the true essence of a crossover product, which not only allows you to keep the intensity high during the winter (just like the Long Salopette L1), but also to improve comfort and performance in other conditions , such as cyclocross races, mountain bike rides in the early weeks of summer in wet areas, races in cooler weather or bad weather, and so on. By exploiting the technological limits of high-density weaving, we are able to produce an extremely compact outer layer that reproduces the windproof characteristics of a double-layer shell fabric, without the use of a membrane, and then preserves the exceptional natural breathability of the fabric. The surface is very compact and appears as a very small volume fabric. Additionally, it increases the effectiveness of the water-repellent treatment by imparting superior windproof characteristics to a knitted fabric with a water-repellent treatment. The inner layer is fleece for greater thermal protection .

* It would be easy to illustrate the characteristics of the UF Hybrid Shell fabric by talking about the use of silver or bio-ceramic threads, or the extraordinary water-repellent treatment of the threads before making the fabric (so as not to alter the natural breathability of the fabric). But the real uniqueness lies in the high-density weaving techniques that Q36.5 employed before anyone else in cycling clothing, to such an extent that it has become a sort of invisible signature of the entire collection.
