SpeedFun Furious Evo is a tuning for ebikes with a Shimano engine that allows you to remove the 25 kmH speed limit by fully exploiting the potential of the Shimano EP8 (EP800) engine.

This release device is specifically designed for Shimano Ep8 (EP800) engines with mechanical derailleur (no DI2).

All SpeedFun Furious Evo speed release devices can be activated and deactivated at any time and without the need for connections to the light output.

What is SpeedFun Furious Evo tuning for Shimano Ep8 (EP800)?

The function of the Furious Evo tuning device for Shimano EP8 (Ep800) is to electronically manipulate the rotation speed of the rear wheel and to communicate to the motor a speed always lower than 25 KmH in order to obtain a very high real speed with the motor active. The maximum speed limit will therefore be dictated by the engine power added to the power expressed by your legs.

When the device is active the display will show the exact speed up to the threshold of approximately 20 KmH, beyond which a manipulated speed always lower than 25 KmH will be shown.

SpeedFun Furious Evo can be activated and deactivated as desired and maintains the setting even after the ebike is turned off. It can be installed on ebikes with any type of display or side control as well as on ebikes without a display or that have the EW-EN100 wireless module.

The new technology of this tuning module for Shimano does not require activation of the engine light output or interventions with diagnostics or apps. It is supplied plug and go ready to use and can be installed very simply thanks to the connectors with which no physical modification of the ebike is necessary.

ATTENTION 1
This tuning is not compatible with ebikes equipped with a Shimano Di2 electronic derailleur.

This tuning is not compatible only and exclusively with Shimano EP800 engines (not compatible with EP801 and EP600).

Once the SpeedFun speed release device has been installed, the electric bicycle, exceeding the 25 kmH limit, is equated to a moped and as such, if it circulates in public places, it requires approval-registration by the Civil Motorization Authority, it is subject to the payment of road tax and insurance coverage, it must have a license plate, it cannot circulate on cycle paths and the driver is obliged to drive with a license and must use a helmet. Furthermore, driving a motorized bicycle equivalent to a moped that does not comply with the aforementioned provisions entails the administrative seizure of the vehicle and financial penalties that vary depending on the infringement committed. The manufacturer of the speed release system declines any responsibility relating to any damage caused to the pedal-assisted bicycles on which the device is mounted as well as direct or indirect damage to people or things.
SpeedFun – Phase B snc declines all responsibility for any anomalies caused by anti-tuning defenses that engine manufacturers may activate.
Please remember that modifications to the bicycle could invalidate the manufacturer's warranty.

SOFTWARE COMPATIBLE WITH SPEEDFUN DEVICES
The operation of the SpeedFun devices is guaranteed for the software versions of the ebikes released up to the date of purchase of the device itself.
If the ebike is subsequently updated with software for which the SpeedFun device was not designed, the device may not function.
Before updating your engine you need to check compatibility with your SpeedFun device.
