What is the SpeedFun Ghost tuning for Mahle Ebikemotion X35 and X35+?

SpeedFun Ghost is an electronic and intelligent tuning device that does not require any external power supply.
It is designed to bypass the speed limit of 25 km/h, allowing for increased active assistance from the X35 Ebikemotion motor.
Due to the construction characteristics of this type of motor, it is possible to reach speeds of about 29/30 KmH depending on the models of ebikes.

This tuning for Mahle Ebikemotion X35 and X35+ engines is active from the moment of installation, and if apps or displays are connected, the distance and speed data will be inaccurately indicated. Assistance is slightly reduced beyond 25 KmH.

The SpeedFun Ghost tuning for Ebikemotion x35 and X35+ is available in only one version:

  • – Slim version: this round-section version measures ∅14 x 170 mm and is slightly flexible. It can be partially or fully inserted inside the tubes in the frame or be fixed externally. This version is the most used and adaptable to most e-bikes.

Before purchasing, check the dimensions on your ebike.

NB: we advise against installing battery extenders on ebikes equipped with Ghost X35 tuning to avoid compatibility issues.

Once the SpeedFun speed unlock device is installed, the electric bicycle, exceeding the limit of 25 km/h, is equated to a moped and as such, if it circulates in public places, it requires homologation-registration by the Civil Motorization, is subject to the payment of the circulation tax and insurance coverage, must have a license plate, cannot circulate on bike paths, and the driver is required to have a driving license and must wear a helmet. Furthermore, riding a motorized bicycle equated to a moped that does not comply with the aforementioned provisions results in the administrative seizure of the vehicle and monetary penalties that vary depending on the violation committed. The manufacturer of the speed unlock system disclaims any responsibility for any damage caused to the pedal-assisted bicycles on which the device is installed as well as for direct or indirect damage to persons or property.
SpeedFun – Phase B snc disclaims any responsibility for any anomalies caused by the anti-tuning defenses that engine manufacturers may activate.
Please note that modifying the bicycle may void the manufacturer's warranty.

 

SOFTWARE COMPATIBLE WITH SPEEDFUN DEVICES

The operation of SpeedFun devices is guaranteed for the software versions of the e-bikes released up to the date of purchase of the device itself.
If the e-bike is subsequently updated with software for which the SpeedFun device was not designed, it may not function properly.
Before updating your engine, it is necessary to check compatibility with your SpeedFun device.
